OFFICIAL RULES
"BLUE LIGHT OKEMO GETAWAY" SWEEPSTAKES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE, OR OLDER, TO ENTER.
ENTRY:
Sweepstakes begins at approximately 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 11/01/11 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on 12/31/11 (the "Promotion Period"). To enter, visit a participating Labatt Blue Light retailer to obtain one of seven promotional codes found on the "Blue Light Okemo Getaway" display tear pad, visit www.labattbluelightus.com/okemo, provide the promotional code along with all other requested information on the entry form, and submit. No purchase is necessary to enter or obtain a promotional code but an internet connection is required. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Limit: one (1) entry per week per person or email address using the same promotional code. If multiple entries using the same promotional code are received during any week (Sunday thru Saturday), only the first entry will be accepted. The use of automated entry devices of any kind is prohibited. Entries must be received by the close of the Promotion Period.
ELIGIBILITY:
Sweepstakes open to legal US residents of CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, PA and VT who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of Labatt USA ("Sponsor"), alcoholic beverage licensees, Sponsor's advertising/promotion agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, and of any other entity involved with this Sweepstakes, and their immediate family/household members, whether related or not, are ineligible to participate.
PRIZES:
There will be one (1) prize of an Okemo Mountain Resort Certificate (each a "Prize") awarded to a winner selected from each of the seven promotional code groups (each a "Winner"). The Prize is good toward 2 nights' lodging (1 standard room, double occupancy), and two (2) 3-day adult lift tickets at the Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, VT. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Prize is $1,500. The ARV of all Prizes to be awarded is $10,500. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received in each promotional code group during the Promotion Period. All other costs and expenses not specifically mentioned herein as included as part of the Prize, including, but not limited to, transportation, gasoline, insurance, meals, beverages, amenities, rentals, resort fees, upgrades, room service, taxes, and personal expenses, are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
DRAWING/NOTIFICATION:
One (1) Winner will be selected from eligible entries received in each promotional code group by a random drawing to be held on or around 01/06/12. Winners will be initially notified via phone or e-mail and then in writing via some form of home delivery.
CONDITIONS:
Each Winner and guest of the Winner ("Guest") must be 21 years of age or older. Winner and Guest must use the Prize at the same time. Guests have no independent rights to the Prize. You may enter once a week during the Promotion Period in each promotional code group, but you may only win one Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or any portion thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value. Rooms are subject to availability as determined by the Okemo Mountain Resort. Reservations are required and a credit card may be required for proof of identity and room guarantee at the time of check-in. Prize must be used by the closing day of the 2011-2012 winter ski season as determined by the Okemo Mountain Resort. No transfer or conveyance of the Prize by the Winner is allowed nor is there a cash value equivalent, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Components of the Prize are to be used at the same time and no refunds or value will be provided if any component of the Prize is not or cannot be used, or is otherwise declined. Potential winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release and return it within three (3) days of receipt. If Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within three (3) days, or if the potential prize winner (i) fails to complete and return all requested forms by the specified date, (ii) is found to be ineligible, or (iii) fails to comply with the Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Guests will also be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Use of the Prize is subject to the rules of Okemo Mountain Resort and Winner and Guest may be required to execute a separate Release of Liability from the resort. The acceptance or use of the Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the Winner's name, and photograph/likeness for promotional purposes on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Winner is responsible for all taxes and will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued in excess of $600.00. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor whose decisions are final. Entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity with regard to the mechanics of the Sweepstakes or interpretation of the Official Rules. Winners and Guests also agree to release/discharge/indemnify/and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective directors/officers/employees/and agents, from any claims due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property, resulting in whole or in part from acceptance or use of the Prize, or participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience, or loss of time arising out of any acts, omissions, or negligence, of any person, including, without limitation, transportation carriers and any person providing any service or accommodation in conjunction with any Prize awarded in the Sweepstakes, or for delays and cancellations including, but not limited to those resulting from mechanical breakdown, closings, strikes, government action, inclement weather, or Acts of God. In the event the Prize cannot be used because of business related to the Okemo Mountain Resort, the Winner will abide by the applicable replacement or substitution policies at the Resort. Anyone attempting to defraud or tamper with this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect information caused by printing, technical or human errors which may occur during the Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays, or the loss or destruction of entries. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned because of tampering, intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other reason which affects the security, fairness, or proper execution of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time and award the Prizes through an alternate drawing as determined by the Sponsor. Any disputes regarding this Sweepstakes shall be governed by New York law and resolved in courts sitting in Erie County, New York. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees. Entrant waives any claim for punitive, incidental and consequential damages. Personal information provided to participate in the Sweepstakes is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy found at www.nabreweries.com. Void where prohibited.
